Under Bob’s leadership Verizon has introduced a new era of competition and consumer choice in the Internet and entertainment services area, having deployed FiOS, Verizon’s fiber-based voice, video and high-speed data service. Bob oversees the sales, marketing and service innovation teams responsible for delivery of voice, data, and video services in the United States. He is also responsible for Verizon’s recently launched partnership with Redbox, designed to create a national multi-platform product that leverages Verizon's industry-wide relationships with entertainment content providers, its advanced cloud computing technologies and state-of-the-art IP network infrastructure to distribute video on-demand content to its customers. His team also recently launched broadband speeds that are up to 300 Mbps, twice as fast as anything America has ever seen. Leveraging Verizon’s investment in future-proof technology, his team is bringing a never-before-seen level of connectivity to the home, providing consumers anytime, anywhere access to their digital content as well as remote access and control of their homes. Under Bob’s leadership, the company’s fiber-based Internet ecosystem is empowering consumers to live a borderless lifestyle and is positioning the company for long-term growth and network leadership. Bob’s team also builds and maintains the core network for consumer, wholesale and business customers and is responsible for product platform management, channel marketing, customer service and technical support for consumer and mass business products. Mudge has over 27 years of experience in the technology and communications industry and has held a variety of leadership positions including president – Massachusetts, where he was responsible for the company’s regulatory, legislative and government affairs, and community relations. He is a graduate of North Adams State College and received an MBA from Suffolk University. |
