Melanie Gottlieb joined the staff as Deputy Director of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO) in 2015. She came to the national office with 18 years as an AACRAO institutional member, with experience in Records & Registration, Enrollment Management and International Recruitment and Credential Evaluation at four private higher education institutions in the United States. Throughout her career, she served the profession in a variety of leadership roles at both state and national levels most recently as Vice President for International Education on the AACRAO Board of Directors. In her current role, Melanie leads the Communications and Marketing team, The International team, and represents the association in a variety of policy issues pertaining to student mobility, data privacy and protection, and degree completion. Melanie earned an MA in Information Science from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a BA in History /American Studies from Marlboro College in Vermont,
