Bio

Kathleen Massey joined the University of Lethbridge as the Associate Vice President (Students) in 2017. She is also the current President of the Groningen Declaration Network. 

Previously, Massey held senior leadership positions at four other large postsecondary institutions, including McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Massey is a member of several national and international professional organizations and has held leadership positions in the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC) and the Pan Canadian Consortium on Admission and Transfer (PCCAT). In 2015-16, she led the national ARUCC Groningen and Study Mobility Task Force in Canada and has been a champion of the benefits of supporting student mobility for many years.  Massey holds an MA in Leadership and was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for outstanding leadership in education and research in 2003 and the ARUCC Outstanding Service Award in 2014.
