Simon Yu, MD practices Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine at Prevention and Healing, Inc. in Saint Louis, Missouri. He is a graduate of Washington University in Saint Louis and he has a master’s degree for his research on virology/immunology on Influenza virus and cell mediated immunology. He graduated from University of Missouri at Columbia, School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his Internal Medicine residency has been studying Integrative Medicine for the last 30 years. His special interest is in Biocybernetics and Energy Medicine. He completed 300 hours of post graduate medical acupuncture training at Stanford Medical School. He has been practicing and researching acupuncture meridian assessment for the last 30 years based on the teaching of Electro-acupuncture by Dr. Voll (EAV). He has published numerous articles in the Saint Louis health newspaper on cutting edge medical topics and published two books, Accidental Cure: Extraordinary Medicine for Extraordinary Patients in 2010, and AcciDental Blow Up in Medicine: Battle Plan for Your Life in 2019. He lectures across the country and internationally, and trains physicians on how to detect hidden parasites and dental problems based on acupuncture meridian assessment (AMA) in St. Louis in late April and late August.
