Title Senior Project Manager/International Liason Officer Institution / Organization McMaster University, Canada Bio In his 30 years with McMaster University, currently at the Office of International Affairs where, as Senior Project Manager/International Liaison Officer, he facilitates the university’s numerous and diverse international activities, from university partnerships to project identification, development and support. In 2011, Ni organized McMaster’s first International Forum on Research and Development which brought together business, government and universities attracting 200 delegates from 11 countries to discuss the impact and potential of global R&D relationships. In the past year Ni coordinated the first McMaster-CNRS workshop on Materials Science, and Applied Mathematics, an effort which led to the founding of the McMaster-CNRS fund. Ni also helped drive McMaster’s recent admission into the Universitas 21, a global network of research universities. Ni is also an active mentor with the Association of International Education Administrators. In all of these roles, Ni has provided outstanding leadership and guidance. Ni especially enjoys his time with his wife Marnie of 35 years, living in Dundas with their two children, Chloe and Alec. |
