Librarian of the Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecologia (Library Science School) at the University of Antioquia, Colombia. Documentalist and records manager, with postgraduate studies in Political Philosophy, expert in scientific information management, collection development and history of library sciences. She is currently a researcher and independent advisor on search and retrieval information for the biomedical area and member of the UdeA Open Science Commission, and is dedicated to the advocacy of international initiatives of Open Science.
