Bio
Full time researcher of the CISAN, UNAM and permanent researcher of the Higher Education Studies Program (PUEES) of the UNAM. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Latino Policy Research of the University of California, Berkeley and of the Humanities Coordination, UNAM, analyzing the DACA Student program and the social uses given to the cultural heritage by Mexican immigrants in the United States. She has done field work and documentary in the city of San Francisco, California, Tijuana and Mexico City. Conacyt.She is currently developing a research project in the CISAN on ""Governance of higher education in the United States in the context of the knowledge economy"". Her research interests include public policy, higher education in North America and local activism of undocumented immigrant youth in the governments of Barack Obama (2008-2016) and Donald Trump (2017-2020). She has participated in colloquia, seminars and research workshops, among which the Institute for Global Law and Policy of Harvard Law School and BIARI Mexico Migrations of the Americas of Brown University and El Colegio de México. She has completed stays at the University of Salamanca, Spain (2017), the University of California, Davis (2014) and Berkeley (2008-2012), as well as at the University of Coimbra.
