Co-Founder, Dirt to Dinner, & Chairman Waycrosse, Inc. Lucy Stitzer is Chairman of Waycrosse, Inc, a Family Office for the Cargill and MacMillan family members. She has held this role since 2011. She is also a fifth-generation family member of Cargill Inc. Founded in 1865, Cargill is an agricultural, industrial processing and food solutions company. She was one of two family members of the next generation to serve on the Cargill board in 1992. Lucy and her cousin were the first women to serve as well. She served from 1992-2010. Beginning in 1998, she worked on the first set of three strategies setting the stage for Cargill’s future. In addition, she served on the Finance, Human Resources and Governance Committees. In 2016, because of her agricultural knowledge, Lucy, and three other women, began a blog called Dirt to Dinner. The purpose is to educate consumers about the agricultural supply chain, food ingredients, and diet trends. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hollins University. She is married to Mark and has three children. |
