Principal Applications Engineer

Leor Chechik graduated with a CS BSc in Scotland and made the life-changing decision to pass on her job offers in the UK to come to the US as a Stanford CS MS grad student. Now as a Principal Applications Engineer at Oracle with over 10 years of software development experience in industry, she reflects back the many choices that shaped her path. After specializing in HCI during her studies, she chose to go back to a purely technical role and has worked as a developer on server technologies, front-end apps and cloud services. She repeatedly resisted the push toward a leadership position when life events redefined her priorities and is committed to continue growing as an individual contributor.
