Title Chairman, South East Asia, Vice Chairman, Investment Banking Asia Ex- Japan Company Goldman Sachs Bio Tim Leissner is Chairman of South East Asia and Vice Chairman of the Investment Banking Division in Asia Ex- Japan for Goldman Sachs. He has served as Head of Investment Banking Services (IBS) for Asia Ex- Japan, Head of the IBS Leadership Group for Asia Pacific Ex-Japan, Co-President of Goldman Sachs Singapore and Head of Investment Banking for South East Asia. Earlier in his career, Mr Leissner was Chief of Staff in Asia Ex- Japan. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 as an executive director in Mergers & Acquisitions and was named managing director in 2002 and partner in 2006. Mr Leissner is the co-founder of the People’s Wish Foundation, a charitable organization in China. He earned a BA in Business Administration from Siegen University in 1991, an MBA from the University of Hartford in 1992 and a Doctorate of Business Administration from the University of Somerset. |
