Description
Globally, learners experience firsthand the challenges of pursuing their education and professional goals, whether due to armed conflict, political persecution, natural disaster, or simply because of inferior technological systems and inequitable credential recognition policies and practices. These challenges sometimes impede progress and are often exacerbated by realities outside one’s control; where one is born can privilege or not one’s access to mobility, recognition, quality education and ultimately, personal and economic success. This panel discussion elevates the voice of the learner by inviting three panelists who are current or recent students to highlight their experiences, goals, and expectations regarding learner mobility and credential recognition.
