Description

IAU cooperated with BBC StoryWorks, to produce a series promoting the role of higher education as a catalyst for developing sustainable societies. This plenary session constitutes the official launch of the project and it will present excerpts from the series that bring to screen innovative projects undertaken by 30 IAU Members, who share how higher education institutions are addressing societal transformations and promoting diversity, leadership and social responsibility. In this session, representatives of the institutions will discuss the purposes, impacts and challenges of implementing these inspiring projects that they chose to present in the films. The more than 30 mini films constitute a captivating patchwork illustrating the essential contribution of higher education to societal development worldwide. Learn more here.
