The Climate FieldViewTM service provides farmers with field-level daily rainfall estimates and real-time rainfall animations using radar and automated rain gauge data. In this talk I will discuss lessons learned from all four phases of a data science model life cycle: identification of a business opportunity, algorithm development, model deployment, and subsequent monitoring and improvement.
