Session Type: Presentation

Presentation of a complete photogrammetry and computer graphics software pipeline to create accurate 3D reconstructions of underwater archaeological sites from video data captured by an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle off the coast of Malta. The resulting educational visualizations can be used to excite the general public and encourage further preservation of marine archaeology sites. We explore the joys and challenges of multi-disciplinary projects including robotics, computer graphics and marine archeology.
