TrueView: Harnessing the Power of Multiple Review Sites

Online reviews can be useful for customers, but they need to be protected from manipulation. While most studies focus on analyzing data from a single hosting site, we develop a systematic methodology to merge and evaluate reviews from multiple sites. We then identify hotels that have abnormal review patterns using single- and cross-site features and generate TrueView, a trustworthiness score.
