For user requests with deadlines, we study time-sensitive resource allocation schemes to efficiently utilize the heterogeneous resources in cloud. We propose three different allocation schemes called EDF, TSRA and K-TSRA. The results show that the proposed schemes can significantly out-perform the state-of-the-art scheme with up to 25% more user requests being served and up to 5% more benefit.
