Sean is part of a ‘new generation’ of accountant that embraces the extensive use of technology to deliver better client solutions.

An early achiever, Sean started university at only 14 and was drawn to finance and accountancy. Following a string of academic successes which included topping the state in over half of his professional year subjects, Sean became a director of Collins SBA at just 24. His success in managerial and client relationship roles and his drive for innovation was recently recognised at the TCCI Business Leader awards where he was awarded Young Manager of the Year in addition to being a finalist in the Owner Manager of the Year category. His views on the use of technology in the accounting sphere, the impact it is having on the accounting profession and the changing skill sets of the ‘new generation’ of accountants have been widely publicised across a range of national media.

His focus and passion for technology have resulted in extensive innovation at his firm Collins SBA, and this in turn has launched him into developing software for the accounting industry. He currently leads the Reportance development team which has recently released an accountants ledger product which integrates with all the major accounting software providers.
