Who should attend?

The CCOPS short course is intended for early and mid-level rotating equipment professionals who want to enhance their knowledge of centrifugal compressor design and the design and operation of centrifugal compression systems.  The compressor design portion of the course examines the aero/thermodynamic, mechanical (bearings, seals and impellers) and rotordynamic aspects of the design and analysis of centrifugal compressors and their components.  This material is supplemented by coverage of compressionsystem related topics such as compressor selection configuration and layout installation, transient operation, performance evaluation and process/anti-surge control.  A brief introduction to various drivers and compression train is also included.
