Course Description:
Join Indigenous poet, Rowie Shebala as she takes you through a workshop series inspired by the Diné (Navajo) Clan system. Rowie will utilize the Navajo Clan system as a template for mapping yourself for organizing your writing. In this two part workshop, you’ll be encouraged to utilize your connections to place and community to construct written pieces with clear ties to who you are and what matters most to you. This course is appropriate for writers of any level across genres who would like to be inspired by Indigenous wisdoms that ask us to consider who we are within the context of where we come from.
