Thank you for your interest in applying to the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers' Workshop! Established in 1968, the Clarion Workshop is the oldest workshop of its kind and is widely recognized as a premier proving and training ground for aspiring writers of fantasy and science fiction. The 2023 Clarion Workshop will take place on the campus of UC San Diego from June 25 to August 5, 2023. For full information about the Clarion Workshop and application process, including an FAQ, please visit clarion.ucsd.edu. Before you begin, know that it takes between 30 and 60 minutes to complete the application process. If you close the application before you complete the process, you will receive an email with information about how to resume your application, but you must resume from the same computer to access your previously entered information.
