The State Conference will be followed by the annual AUSTAFE Leaders and Legends Awards dinner being held at the Southbank Institute Restaurant, 66 on Ernest Street. This gala event is organised by the AUSTAFE Queensland to celebrate the outstanding achievements of AUSTAFE Legends and induct them into the AUSTAFE Hall of Fame.
Previous Legends ranged from those nominated for outstanding dedication and expertise in teaching, to former TAFE and Departmental leaders who have helped shape VET in Queensland and influenced the National policy agenda.
