American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) CPR Training

This course is designed for health care professionals and students. Upon completion of the course, students earn the certification for American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Provider (BLS). Students will receive an electronic card after the completion of the course. The AHA BLS certification card meets the CPR requirement for ASU's prelicensure clinical nursing programs.

Cost
Each session costs $60 and includes all the components for BLS certification. Payment is due upon registration in the following formats:

  • Credit card
  • Department funds
    • Available for ASU employees only. Funds must be approved from individual departments.

Location
All sessions will take place in-person at the Health North Building on the Downtown Phoenix campus. Maps and directions will be sent to students after completing registration. 

Capacity and rescheduling
Sessions allow up to 12 students each, with a minimum requirement of 4 students to hold the training. If less than 4 students are signed up for a session up to 48 hours prior to the training time, the session will be canceled. Any student registered for a canceled session will be offered to switch to another date at no additional cost or cancel for a full refund.

Cancellation policy
If a student can no longer attend their selected session, they have up to 48 hours prior to the class time to either reschedule for a later date (no additional fee required), or cancel their registration to receive a refund of the $60 class fee. If cancellations are made with 48 hours of a class, no refund will be provided.

Cancellations can be requested by emailing edsoncollege.events@asu.edu.

Registration
Sign up by clicking the New Registration button below. You will be asked to enter your contact information, select your session, and pay the $60 class fee on the next few pages. A receipt and confirmation message will be automatically sent to the email address you provide.

Returning users can update their selected session by clicking the Modify Registration button below.
