Engineering Mechanics Institute On-Campus Housing

Welcome to the reservation site for the Engineering Mechanics Institute On-Campus Housing. The residence halls at CU Boulder provide exceptional comfort and amenities for our conference guests. Reservations are available for single or double occupancy. All rooms utilize shared community bathrooms with access from the common hallway. Registration for on campus lodging will be available until 11:59pm Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on May 12, 2026 or until sold out. A credit card payment is required at the time of your reservation for on-campus lodging. No refunds will be made after 11:59pm MDT on May 12, 2026.

Lodging packages are priced per person and no refunds will be given for missed nights. Participants staying in on-campus lodging must be 18+ years of age. We are unable to accommodate minors in the residence halls per University of Colorado campus youth protection policies. Accompanying spouse or guests must make a reservation and pay for the full lodging package to stay on the CU Boulder campus.

Roommate Preference for Double Package: If there is a conference attendee, accompanying adult guest or spouse who is also staying in on-campus lodging that you would like to share a room with, please list their name where requested. Each roommate must register individually for a package and request each other as roommates.

Lodging Package includes:

• CUCS plans to house participants of Engineering Mechanics Institute On-Campus Housing in Hallet Hall. This is subject to change should unforeseen circumstances arise on campus that require CUCS to relocate participants. Hallet Hall is located directly adjacent to the Center for Community (C4C) Dining Center.

  • Address: 2240 Willard Loop Drive

• Access to the CU Recreation Center at no additional charge.

• A linen packet consisting of one set of sheets, a blanket, two towels, one washcloth, a pillow, and a pillowcase. One linen packet is supplied for the duration of the event.

• Room furnishings (per guest) consisting of an extra-long twin bed at the height of 35" (89 cm), a dresser, bookcase, desk/desk chair, closet and a micro-fridge to share.

• Housekeeping service in community restrooms and public areas. Note that there is no housekeeping service in the individual guest rooms.

• TVs in building lounges.

• Non-Smoking rooms (there are no rooms in which smoking is allowed; the CU campus is smoke free).

• Community restrooms shared amongst all rooms along a hallway, separated by male/female gender. There are individual bathroom stalls and individual shower stalls located on each wing of the building on each floor. Personal toiletries will not be provided.

Optional Nights

Early arrival reservations are available for May 31 or June 1 and late departure reservations are available for June 6 or June 7 at an additional cost.

Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your registration, you can do so by returning to this website and selecting "Modify Registration" at the bottom of the page. You will be able to log in to view your registration and complete necessary changes, updates or cancellations. Changes to your registration can be made up until May 12, 2026 at 11:59pm MDT. After that time please send an e-mail to conferences@colorado.edu or call 303-492-5151 for assistance. To avoid duplicate registration charges, please do not register a second time.
