WELCOME TO THE UVM GO COMMUNITY LOTTERY FORM ROUND TWO

UVM GO Community is an early move-in program. When you enroll in UVM GO Community, you get to move into your permanent room three days before the start of New Student Orientation. You also get to meet other incoming students, engage in fun and enriching activities in the Burlington area, and start to feel confident navigating campus. You’ll make early and lasting connections with friends, faculty, and staff before the semester begins!

Dates: Sunday, August 23 – Wednesday, August 26

Cost: $650* (est). Includes all meals, lodging, transportation on program, activities, entrance fees

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Only students who have committed to UVM and will be living on campus for the Fall of 2026 may complete this form.
  • Be sure you have activated your UVM NetID before you begin this form! If you need help setting up your account or need to reset your password, you can do so by contacting account services.

UVM GO Community is an EARLY MOVE-IN program, meaning students will officially move into their permanent dorm room (with all belongings) on Sunday, August 23. Move-in for UVM GO participants is scheduled to begin at 9:00am, and your first UVM GO meet-up will be at your residence hall at 2:00pm. We will communicate any program itinerary or move-in updates as needed throughout the summer. UVM GO Community programs conclude by noon on Wednesday, August 26, in time for the start of New Student Orientation.

THE PROCESS:

ROUND 2 of the UVM GO Community Lottery is open from Tuesday, May 5 – Monday, June 1, 2026, to incoming Fall 2026 students who have paid their deposit to enroll at UVM and will be living on campus.

By completing this form, you are agreeing to enter the UVM GO Community lottery process. Entering the UVM GO Community Lottery DOES NOT constitute a formal registration or commitment to participate if you are offered a spot.

You’ll be notified via email in early June if you have been drawn in the lottery or waitlisted for UVM GO Community. If you are selected from the lottery, you will have one week to formally accept your spot by completing the registration form and paying the Program Fee. If you requested and qualify for financial assistance, that information will be included in your invitation to enroll.

Over the summer, students will be placed into themed UVM GO programs, determined by their assigned Residential Zone. Each Residential Zone will offer between two and four UVM GO programs, and using this lottery form, students are able to indicate their preferred program themes and topics within each zone. After housing assignments are announced by Residential Life (typically in June), UVM GO will place you in one of the programs offered within your zone, according to your ranked preferences when possible. **

** Students that have committed to the Liberal Arts Scholars Program or the Patrick Leahy Honors College will not be asked to select preferred themes in other Residential Zones.
