School of the Arts Ceramics Co-opFollow @soaceramicscoop on Facebook and Instagram for further updates. Studio block hours are listed below, each member will select a block time with 4 hours of studio time a week (make-up blocks are allowed). There will be open studio sessions on Fridays, allowing members 2 extra hours every other week (there will be a sign up sheet). Members will have the choice to sign up for either hand building or wheel throwing and must stick to their selected technique (this is somewhat flexible depending on how full the studio is). One membership session will give you 13 working weeks in the studio. Please read the entire studio agreement prior to registration. Location: Living/Learning, Room 102, 633 Main St, Burlington VT 05405 The studio is located downstairs on the first floor of the Living/Learning Commons, next to the Marche dining. Parking: Paid visitor parking is available on UVM campus, click here for more information on parking. For more paid and free parking, click here to take a look at the Burlington street parking website. Members are encouraged to take public transportation or bike. Price: UVM Student Membership: $400 Community/UVM Staff Membership: $500 Block options: Block session start/end dates for Spring 2026: January 12th – April 26th. All block options are listed below.
*If you are a beginner/not experienced with ceramics, you must sign up for a weekday block (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). The manager will not be helping with late blocks or weekend blocks. You will be asked to leave Blocks D, H, I, J if you are not experienced.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund, less a 7% cancellation fee, is available if a member drops out before Febuary 6th. Drop out between Feburary 6th - Febuary 27th, half refund. No refund after Febuary 27th. To request a refund, contact Britton Blanchard at bcblanch@uvm.edu or call 802-683-1651. If you have been waitlisted for a block, you are in line for a spot if someone drops out (which does happen). There might be other people ahead of you in the waitlist line.
