2026 Academy Civil Rights Pilgrimage

Join The Academy for Spiritual Formation on a sacred journey through Birmingham, Montgomery, and Selma — a six-day pilgrimage that brings you face-to-face with the people, places, and stories that shaped the Civil Rights Movement.

Space is limited. The application deadline is December 5, 2025.

COSTS

CHOOSE YOUR RATE:

We offer a sliding scale to make the pilgrimage accessible. You are invited to pay at the highest level your circumstances allow, supporting others who need assistance.

Double Occupancy	$1,500	$1,800 / $2,000 / $2,200
Single Occupancy	$1,900	$2,200 / $2,400 / $2,600

Costs Include:

5 nights – Hotel Accommodations
Breakfasts each morning
2 Group lunches
3 Group dinners
Coach transportation throughout, fees for museums, local historians and speakers, tips for driver, and retreat materials.

Note: The fees DO NOT include personal costs to and from Birmingham, books/materials for required reading and pre-study, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and any optional expenses incurred.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Partial scholarships of up to $500 available based on need (in addition to any early bird discount). Link to scholarship application will be provided after being approved for the pilgrimage.
