AI Ministry Lab: An Advanced Look at AI (Fall 2025) 

A 6-week interactive workshop designed for ministry leaders with prior AI experience, focusing on advanced Large Language Model usage such as prompting and persona creation, guidelines, ethical integration, ministry use examination and project-based learning.  
Includes a Slack workspace for community engagement and peer support. 

Key Features: 

• All sessions are live on Zoom unless noted (11am CDT / 12pm EDT) 

• Slack workspace for collaboration 

• Final peer-reviewed project presentation 

• Optional CEU credit (1 CEU / 10 hours total) 

• Registration cap: 75 participants 

• Labor Day break with Pre-recorded special session

Aug 25 

• Slack Workspace Opens 

• Session 1 (Live): Advanced Prompting & Productivity 

• Homework: Complete personal prompt system template and submit insights by Aug 30 

Sept 1 

• Pre-recorded Special Session (Labor Day Content) 

• Homework: Submit reflection in Slack by Sept 4 

Sept 8 

• Session 2 (Live): Developing Usage Guidelines for Your Ministry: Ethical & Strategic Integration 

• Homework: Draft a usage policy outline for your ministry by Sept 13 

Sept 15 

• Session 3 (Live): Ministry Tools & Workflow Demos 

• Homework: Choose 1–2 tools to test in your context; post a demo summary in Slack by Sept 20 

Sept 22 

• Session 4 (Live): Project Design Lab 

• Homework: Submit a 1-page final project outline by Sept 27 

Sept 29 

• Week Off: No live session 

• Homework: Continue project development and provide peer feedback in Slack 

Oct 6 

• Final Presentations (Live): Project Presentations & Wrap-Up 

• Homework: Submit final project and self-assessment by Oct 7 

Participants can expect ~1–2 hours of homework between sessions, focused on real-world application and community feedback.
