The Virginia War Memorial Foundation and the Virginia War Memorial invite Virginia veterans of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, their immediate family members, and those who directly supported these conflicts, to submit a Request for Invitation. This will help ensure that all Virginia veterans of Desert Shield and Desert Storm are included in this meaningful program of remembrance, which will honor their service when invitations are extended in late 2025/early 2026. While we welcome attendees from other groups, our priority is to ensure that Desert Shield and Desert Storm veterans have the opportunity to reconnect with their peers.
