Rural Health and Cancer Conference Abstract Submissions
Abstracts:
A limited number of session and lightning talks will be selected from abstract submission. Session talks must fit one of the session themes and will be 15-minutes long. Please list your preferred session(s) in your abstract submission. View the agenda here for a list of sessions. Lightning talks do not have to fit a specific theme and will be 3-minutes in length. Abstracts are due March 21, 2025 and limited to 200 words.

Trainee Travel Awards:
The UVM Cancer Center is dedicated to supporting trainee career development. In alignment with this dedication, the Rural Health and Cancer Conference is pleased to offer competitive travel awards for trainees. Trainees include University students (undergraduate, medical, graduate), postdoctoral associates, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and clinical fellows.
To be eligible for a travel award trainees must submit an abstract. An internal review committee will review abstracts for travel award consideration. Do not complete registration for the conference until after you receive a status update regarding your application. Travel awards consist of $500 for travel and include free conference registration.

If you do not wish to submit an abstract and/or apply for a travel award, please register for the conference here. If you do plan to apply for a travel award, please do not register until you have heard back about your application status.
