VIRTUAL Thinking Well: How to Better Process Information

VIRTUAL Thinking Well: How to Better Process Information

The various elements that comprise our individual pasts are complex and intertwined: values, beliefs, experiences, biases, blind spots, and fears, each affect and form our personality, which drives our mindset - how we perceive and process events, actions, and data. This information Lens has been ground through all the elements – both favorable and unfavorable – of our past. Our unique Information Lens shapes how we process the information we receive during audits, as well as what we decide to do with that information, and can have a significant effect on audit effectiveness.

In this session, participants will learn to:

  • Appreciate how our individual pasts affect our mindset and how we process information
  • Recognize the areas that challenge our ability to think well
  • Leverage tools to help us think well
  • Make more effective decisions and act based on the information received
