Clinical Research and Academic Success in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Course Objectives:
Improve understanding, advantages and disadvantages of various types of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative studies, systematic reviews, etc.)
Describe how to choose a research question and the characteristics of an appropriate research question
Assess and critically review research papers
Improve ability to use statistical software to analyze results
Describe the academic promotion process
Improve ability to write/review manuscripts & grants
