2025 Summer Offerings

Registration for summer 2025 classes will be done via your CU Portal (normal class registration process). Classes will show in the registration portal February 20th and enrollment starts March 10th. For all field courses you will need to pay a
 non-refundable course deposit ($300USD) prior to being allowed to register, please click "New Registration" to begin.

Field Methods in Vegetation Ecology - June 16 - July 3 (Drop Date: June 18)

Field Ornithology - June 16 - July 3 (Drop Date: June 18)

Bioinformatics in the Mountains - July 7 - July 19 (Drop Date: July 8)

Microbial Ecology - July 7 - July 24 (Drop Date: July 9)

Lake & Stream Ecology - July 21 - Aug 7 (Drop Date: July 23)

Forest & Fire Ecology - July 28 - Aug 11 (Drop Date: July 30)

 

Registration Policies

Capacity/Waitlist
Registration for all courses will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Mountain Research Station 2025 Summer Courses is capped at 15 registrants per course due to space limitations. We will close registration when we reach capacity and a waitlist will be activated. 

Payment
Payment is required at the time of registration. The University of Colorado Boulder does not accept purchase orders and cannot bill for registration fees. Retain all receipts for your records. If we have no record of payment when the conference begins, we will require payment at that time.

Modifying Registration
If you need to make any changes to your registration, you can do so by clicking the "Modifying Registration" button at the bottom of this page. You will then be prompted to enter the email address you used to register as well as the Reference Number that can be found on your Registration Confirmation Email. The course deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations MUST be requested by 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your chosen Course at 11:59 PM MDT. The course deposit is non-refundable.
Drop deadlines (100% refund except for the course deposit and no mark on your transcript ) for Courses are listed above. The course deposit is non-refundable. There is no refund if a course is dropped after the drop date and you will receive a “W” on your transcript.
If your plans change and you are going to drop a Course, please do your best to notify Dr. Mike Haffey at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of your course.
