Information for Registration

WHAT IS IT?
The 2026 Global Young People’s Convocation (GYPC) is a worldwide gathering for United Methodist Youth which takes place every four years. This event is open for registration for active members of the United Methodist Church and those who are connected with and interested to learn more about the Methodist connection. We focus the event on young people between the ages of 14-35, however, adult chaperones and those who serve young people are also encouraged to attend.

WHEN IS IT?

July 7-11, 2026

 

WHO CAN COME?

• The ecumenical family of faith, including churches in the Methodist family tree, are welcome and our worship time will be ecumenical. Most of the workshops and learning opportunities will be specifically United Methodist.

• Young People
  • Youth (Mainly 12-18 years of age, but can be up to 24 years of age)
  • Young Adults (19-35 years of age)
• Adult Ministers focused on youth and young adult age ranges
• Denominational Leaders
• Adult Chaperones

  

WHAT DOES IT COST?

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit required to complete registration. Future payments made towards total amount due can be made at any time, in any amount, until the total amount required is paid. Rates will change based on registration dates.

“Early” registration is $899 USD. This rate is available for those who put down deposits and are fully paid by January 31, 2026.

“Regular” registration is $1250 USD. This rate is available for those fully paid by April 30, 2026.

“Late” registration is $1500 USD. This rate is available for those fully paid by May 30, 2026.

Event registration closes completely at 12:01am central time US time, June 1, 2026.

 

Event Registration includes:

• Event credentials, worship, keynote speeches, workshops, and event materials
• All event activities and programming on July 8,9,10.
• Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on July 8, 9, 10 and breakfast on July 11in the hotel.
• Airport transfers from Dublin International to Hotel

 

Registration Price at check-out will change based upon your rooming selection and room cost.

Room cost

• WITH ROOMMATE: $899 USD (Early Registration) + $440 USD (4 nights with roommate) = $1,339 USD
• SINGLE ROOM: $899 USD (Early Registration) + $880 USD (4 nights) = $1,779 USD
• If you are trying to sleep more than 2 people to a room for cost savings, please contact us during your registration process.

*Note: Roommates should be of the same gender. Youth need to room with other youth. Mixed gender rooms are ok if a married/committed couple traveling together, or family members.

• At check-out, the system will require a $100 USD non-refundable deposit per person. Please be prepared to pay that amount, and then return in the future to pay the remaining balance.

 

Registration DOES NOT INCLUDE flights to Dublin or travel meals on July 7 or 11. Consult our Frequently Asked Questions page for more information on the total cost of attendance.

 

Chaperones? Adults are welcome to attend GYPC. Adult chaperones are required for travelers (or groups of travelers that include youth) under the age of 18 as of July 7, 2026. If traveling with a group, groups are encouraged to have a ratio of 1 chaperone to every 7 participants. Groups that include multiple sex attendees are encouraged to have chaperones that correspond to the demographics of their group. (e.g. If your group includes male and female youth, please have both a male and female adult chaperone)

• Chaperones, or Group Leaders, can register multiple attendees. This option appears after you have entered all of the registration information for the Chaperone/Group Leader and before the deposit is required.
• Chaperones, register your information first, then go back and add group members. There will be a $100 non-refundable deposit required for every group member within your group.
