Interested in learning how the field of engineering can be a force for good in the world? Team up with fellow high school students for an exciting introduction to the world of robotics. During the camp, students will compete in the National Underwater Robotics Competition. Work on a team to build an underwater robot to conduct a simulated time travel mission to the Cretaceous era where you will conduct important research by collecting dinosaur eggs. Learn concepts and skills like buoyancy, electrical wiring, and autonomy in a fun and hands-on way and meet Desert WAVE, currently the top-ranked underwater robotics team in the world! No experience is necessary
Program Cost: $600.00
*Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering requires a non-refundable application fee of $15.00 to be evaluated for the program. If the student is admitted into the summer program, the $15.00 application fee will be deductied from their total program fee.
