Welcome to the Registration Page of the 41st Annual UC Davis Infectious Diseases Conference!
This program provides a review and update of practical information for internists, family physicians, Infectious Diseases specialists, nurses, pharmacists and others who manage patients with infectious diseases.
Special Features:
Laboratory exercises designed to simulate clinical experience with the use of the microbiology laboratory and the management of cases seen in practice.
A choice of workshop sessions for practical smaller group discussions on a variety of clinical issues.
Educational Objectives:
At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:
Describe the association of inappropriate antimicrobial use with the development of resistant bacterial infections
Provide the role of the new antimicrobials in the treatment of infections due to multi-drug resistant infections
Discuss the optimal strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory viral infections
Apply updates in the diagnosis and management of TB
Describe the optimal management of patients with recurrent CDI
List the types of infections and their clinical presentations
Contrast the different strategies for diagnosis and management of these infections
Apply cultural and ethnic data also can determine risk of severity of certain infections and therefore the knowledge of those groups, may impact the way that they are managed. Ex: dissiminated cocci occurs more frequently in people of Filipino descent, antifungal management may be different in that patient population when they present early in the course of illness.
Registration Rates
In person rates are currently $595 for physicians and $545 for other healthcare professionals. Due to lack of interest, we are no longer offering the virtual option. Online registration ends on Monday, May 26, 2025.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds less a cancellation fee of $75 will be granted if request is received in writing on or before 4/30/25. There will be no refunds for requests received after 4/30/25. Please email your request to events@ucdavis.edu.
