Are you ready for the new Global Internal Audit Standards? Still have questions? The IIA Central 1 District (Detroit, Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, Lansing, Michiana, and West Michigan Chapters) is happy to have Stacey Schabel discuss the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards with us followed by a panel discussion on December 5, 2024.
SPEAKER:
Stacey Schabel Stacey leads the Internal Audit team for Jackson Financial, Inc., and is responsible for assisting the board, audit, and risk committee members and executive management in protecting the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the organization through assessment and reporting on the overall effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance. She has over 23 years of audit and risk management experience and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is also serving as the Audit Committee Chair of the Institute of Internal Auditors’ Global Board and as a Director on the IIA North American Board. Stacey earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University with majors in accounting and management information systems. She also previously held the FINRA series 6 registration.
