Combined with trauma-informed care and a commitment to cultural responsivity and equity, we can achieve the goal of providing a school experience that meets both the differentiated academic needs of our students, as well as the equally differentiated social-emotional needs and capacities of students, staff, and families to create school communities where staff, students and other stakeholders truly want to be, not just have to be.
