School mariachi and folklórico groups from Santa Clara County perform with Mariachi Los Gavilanes de Monaco Middle School from Las Vegas, NV.

About this event:
The Santa Clara County Office of Education is sponsoring a showcase of youth mariachi and folklórico groups from Luther Burbank School, Rosemary Elementary, Bachrodt Elementary, Mintie White Elementary School, Lincoln High School, Mt. Pleasant High School, Overfelt High School, DCP El Primero High School, Los Mestizos de San Jose, and San Jose State University. The special guest returning to us from Las Vegas is Mariachi Los Gavilanes from Monaco Middle School. The concert begins at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Mexican Heritage Plaza Theater.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need tickets even though this is a free event?
Yes. Please make sure that you include the name of every person for whom you are buying a ticket for. Children sitting on laps need NOT be registered. Print the ticket or save it on your device as we will be checking people in at the gate.
Will there be parking at this event? There will be limited parking at this event. There are two lots but space is limited. Carpooling and public transportation are highly encouraged. There is an overflow parking lot located at Plata Arroyo Park (King Road and McKee Road), which is a 10-15 minute walk from the Plaza. Please plan accordingly.
Are there reserved seats available? Seating is first come, first served. If you are a parent, do not forget to get a seat for your performing student.
