Participants will apply systems lens to instruction and community involvement in the education of students who are multilingual learners with exceptional needs via a multidisciplinary team approach focusing on:
Reclassification Procedures
Linguistically Appropriate Goals and Objectives
Foundational skills instruction for LTELs with disabilities
Accessibility resources in instruction and assessment for dually identified students
Have participants come in teams reps from Special Ed & EL
MUST ATTEND IN MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAMS
Multi-disciplinary teams make up should be reflective of the following roles:
Special Education Teacher
EL Coordinators
School Psychologists
Speech Language Pathologists
CDE, District Level and Site-Based Administrators
ELPA Administrators/Staff
