Join us for a Virtual Thought Leadership Roundtable
September 10, 2024 | Zoom for Government
9:30am—11:00am PST / 11:30am—2:00pm ET
Event Description
State and local governments have become increasingly high-value targets for cyberattacks in recent years, prompting a surge in national attention and support. For example, the federal government established the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program to increase funding; state governments are developing whole-of-state cybersecurity plans; and local governments are increasing regional collaboration to enhance their resilience.
But with advancements in AI, a constantly evolving threat landscape, significant technical debt, and challenges in attracting and retaining skilled IT talent, how are state and local government leaders prioritizing efforts and securing their systems?
This roundtable discussion with 8–10 state and local government leaders will explore the many challenges and opportunities they face in the digital era. As we enter Cybersecurity Awareness Month, join the conversation to share your approaches and learn from your peers across the country who are actively transforming government IT infrastructure to deliver efficient, secure and user-friendly services to their residents.
