A day of learning, conversation and intentional examination of critical social justice issues.

Established in 2020, the National Racial Equity Initiative for Social Justice (NREI) is the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s (CBCF) pledge to bolster its work in advancing racial justice, combating systemic injustice, and increasing economic development opportunities for the Black community.

Housed in the Center for Policy Analysis and Research (CPAR), NREI focuses on cultivating a space for the development of research, programming, and proactive policies and practices that systematically and uniquely impact the Black community.
