2024 Wesley Pilgrimage in England: An Immersion in Wesleyan Spirituality Sarum College, Salisbury, England Saturday, July 27th - Tuesday, August 6th, 2024
You are invited to a eleven-day spiritual pilgrimage, walking in the footsteps of John and Charles Wesley. This journey offers an opportunity to:

The Wesley Pilgrimage is open to all lay and clergy leaders in interested in Wesleyan spirituality. For ten days we will explore Epworth, the Wesley’s birthplace; Oxford, where John and Charles studied and led the Holy Club; Bristol, where the class meeting was developed and Methodism became a movement; London, where both Wesley brothers experienced assurance of salvation. As British Methodism grew, London became the center of a new missional movement. The primary location for this pilgrimage is Salisbury, England, home to a vital Methodist congregation once served by Francis Asbury.

EVENT REGISTRATION PROCESS:
1.PILGRIM REGISTRATION. The online registration for “USA Pilgrims” and “International Pilgrims” is now open. All “Pilgrims” pay the full event fee as explained below.
2.SCHOLARSHIP REGISTRATION. Those preparing for Christian Service may apply for scholarship assistance. This is a two step process. Step 1 will be to register and pay the deposit to secure your spot and Step 2 will be to complete the Scholarship Application (see below).
PILGRIMAGE REGISTRATION: The full Pilgrimage Registration Fee is $2,499. This fee includes the costs for ten nights lodging, most meals, coach travel to pilgrimage sites, all admission fees, and more. The pilgrimage fee does not include airfare to England or ground transportation from the airport to Salisbury. However, included in this fee is a free coach from Salisbury to the Heathrow International airport on the last day of the itinerary, August 6th, 2024. Those planning to use this elective coach service should not book a flight with a departure time before 3:00pm on August 6th.
All pilgrims must pay a $350 non-refundable deposit to secure their place in the pilgrimage. Registration is on a “first come, first served” basis. The maximum number of participants is 36; however, a waiting list will be available.
NOTE: Full payment of pilgrimage fee is due by May 15, 2024.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS.
There are a limited number of scholarships available for those preparing for Christian Service and the process is different from past years. Those interested should submit their application as soon as they have completed their registration and paid their deposit, as outlined below.
The event cost for a scholarship recipient is $1,799. Successful applicants receive a $700 reduction in the cost of the pilgrimage. Any registered pilgrim may apply.
Step 1: Register to reserve your spot in the pilgrimage. Complete the scholarship application after you've paid your deposit for the pilgrimage.*
Step 2: Complete the scholarship application and submit it by December 31, 2023. Scholarship decisions will be made by January 2024.
If you are selected for a scholarship, your outstanding balance (above the $350 deposit) will be adjusted to reflect the financial assitance.
*Registered pilgrims who applies but did not recieve a scholarship and determine they are unable to afford the full registration fee will have a window of opportunity to cancel their registration and receive a refund of their $350 deposit.
No other financial assistance is available from the event sponsors.
CEUs: This pilgrimage qualifies for three continuing education units and credentialing credit toward a CLM specialization in The Methodist Story and the Ministry of Memory (MSMM).
