Webinar: Understanding and Practicing Function-Based Thinking
Description:This webinar will give participants a foundational understanding of function-based thinking within a trauma-responsive framework. Participants will learn various functions of behavior and specific proactive and response strategies that are more likely to reduce the chances the student will engage in the interfering behavior again. Participants will explore ways to increase the likelihood of the student engaging in prosocial behaviors and have opportunities to share and collaborate with colleagues. While not required, this webinar is recommended for individuals planning to take the Embedding Function-Based Thinking within Restorative Approaches – Learning Series beginning on October 26th. Participants do not have to be registered for that series to attend this webinar.
