Because space is limited, registrations may not be available for all interested applicants. Priority will be given to applicants who have submitted talk proposals. We also encourage both early career and established researchers in the field of firearm injury prevention and related fields (i.e., public health, criminology, medicine, sociology, psychology, social work, nursing, engineering, economics, public policy, education, etc.) to apply. A limited number of registrations will be reserved for government officials, community-based and other practitioners, and philanthropic organizations engaged in supporting research on firearm injury prevention.
You will receive notification via email within two weeks, either that your application has been accepted, or that due to space constraints you have been placed on a waiting list. There is no registration fee to attend this conference and funding for travel will be given preferentially to early career researchers and researchers from communities under-represented in firearm injury research.
