The 100 question written examination is offered twice annually and a pre-requisite to taking the practical test. The next written examination will be offered on Saturday, May 7 at 1:00pm at the AAOM Annual Conference.
In order to sit for certification, you must submit the following through this registration process:
Have a current and active license as a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
Complete the application process through the AAOM IROM-C registration process
Be approved by the AAOM Certification Committee
NOTE: There is a $100 non-refundable application fee payable upon completion of the application process
Candidates must achieve a minimum passing score of 70% on the written certification examination in order to progress to the practical portion of the program. Candidates are allowed three hours (international language candidates are allowed three and one-half hours) to complete the exam.
