Join Tricia Zamora, Employee Wellness Coordinator and Certified Yoga Instructor for a 45-minutes of alignment-based hatha yoga. Alignment-based yoga offers cues to help you find more precision in your form for physical safety and health benefits. Hatha yoga refers to the variety of physical poses that are practiced in an effort to tone the muscles, calm the mind, and strengthen the spirit. You can expect to hold each pose for several breaths and to take breaks between poses. Your teacher will break down each movement in a way that is easy to understand.
This class is appropriate for beginning and intermediate levels of yoga.
