III Regional Conference on Supplier Diversity and Inclusion for Latin America and the Caribbean

“Rebuild Strong, More Diverse, More Inclusive ”

September 8, 9 and 10th, 2020
Virtual Conference
We are living unprecedented times, and although we will miss seeing you in person, technology will grant us the opportunity to conduct the most essential activities that make the Latin America Supplier Diversity and Inclusion Conference  so unique – business connections, learning and best practice sharing, relevant networking and capacity-building – hence, we would not want to miss the opportunity to invite all corporations, women-owned businesses and partners in the Latin American region and beyond to join us in this unparalleled event.
In its third edition, this Conference will continue to bring together expert practitioners on Supplier Diversity and Inclusion to share tools and resources to successfully launch and grow programs at a local level. It will also host a space designed for women-owned enterprises poised for growth, with workshops, panel discussions, motivational speeches, training and networking, plus the most impactful matchmaking session for women-owned businesses in the region. This event is now more critical than ever. The women-owned businesses in our network will need the tools and market opportunities that will support them to recover after the COVID-19 crisis.

Don't miss out on the EARLY BIRD registration for this event! The deadline is August 9th, 2020 11:59 pm. To find out about pricing, please click on New Registration.
About WEConnect International

We know that globally, women control $20 trillion in annual consumer spending and at least influence 85% of consumer purchasing decisions. Still, today less than 1 percent of large corporate and government spend worldwide goes to women-owned businesses.

To move the needle above 1 percent, WEConnect International works to generate relevant market opportunities for women-owned companies; by connecting them to forward-thinking multinational corporations, representing over $1 trillion in annual purchasing power, we are actively closing the gender gap and removing obstacles to connect women to the global economy.

We have been delivering on this programmatic work since our inception 10 years ago for more than a 100 of our multinational member companies and a network that now includes over 10k women-owned businesses in more than 100 countries.

WEConnect International in Latin America and the Caribbean
Since 2012, WEConnect International has been expanding in Latin America and the Caribbean. We currently have certification capacity in 15 countries in the region, and we are actively working to engage buyers and suppliers in 7 countries. 2020 is a crucial year because, despite the public health crisis we are facing, we continue to look for ways to expand and support women's businesses in their growth processes.
Our mission goes beyond identifying the best suppliers. It also includes preparing future suppliers with relevant information and training, raising awareness on the importance of inclusive purchasing in local communities and ecosystems with limited knowledge on the subject, and enabling spaces to create shared-value opportunities. Conferences, forums, matchmaking sessions are initiatives to enable connections, build capacity and accelerate the growth of women-owned companies, but these are not possible without your support. Don't miss out and join virtually on September 8, 9 and 10, 2020!
