Six Sigma Black Belt 2131
07/08/2020 - 03/07/2021

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering in partnership with the Organizational Performance Office is pleased to offer the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Program. Participants will gain a Six Sigma Black Belt level understanding of Lean, Value, Model Building, Design of Experiments, Advanced Quality Control, and Regression Analysis to name a few, in order to achieve successful project implementation and value-added improvement processes.
The certification instruction spans six months of pre-recorded lectures, assignments, quizzes, and exams, allowing students to progress through the course at their own pace within the allotted time frame. Following the course instruction, participants will have 60 days to take the knowledge gathered and demonstrate its application in a final project. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate as a Six Sigma Black Belt from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.
A certified Six Sigma Black Belt professional provides a variety of roles to contribute towards an organization’s Six Sigma and overall strategic goals and objectives. In most cases, a Six Sigma Black Belt is a full-time, highly trained continuous improvement professional often responsible for leading problem-solving projects, conducting Six Sigma and other continuous improvement trainings, and coaching project teams.
