Join the Bilingual Press | Editorial Bilingüe for our inaugural Summer Writing Challenge! Do you feel like summer is flying by? Were you hoping to advance a writing project and haven’t quite found the time? If so, we invite you to write with us! The purpose of this challenge is to write during what are for some of us the final days of summer. This challenge is open to all writers: academics, creative writers, and aspiring writers who want to write. All are welcome! The challenge: The goal is to write 1,000 words or work for at least 60 minutes a day for ten days (Monday-Friday each week). How: Once participants are registered, they will receive a link to a Google Sheet to track their time and/or the number of words they write daily. Prize: All participants who successfully track their progress for 10 days will receive a BP | EB tote bag and book. (Please note that prizes must be picked up in person in our offices). Dates: July 20 - July 24 & July 27 - July 31, 2026 (weekdays only). Optional: a writing support group via WhatsApp (if you are interested, select this option during registration). Two optional Zoom meetings will be held at the beginning and end of the challenge. Monday, July 20, and Friday, July 31st. |
