SBC21 and The Baltimore-Washington Conference invite you to join us in person for The Black Collective (Lead Well), a sacred space designed to nourish the spirit, elevate leadership, and strengthen the communal call to justice and transformation. The Black Collective is more than a gathering, it is a movement within the Lead Well initiative, rooted in the belief that Black leaders must be supported, resourced, and seen.

This one-day event will take place on Thursday, September 25 at The Baltimore-Washington Conference Center (11711 East Market Place, Fulton, MD 20759) from 9:30am - 5:00pm and will feature:

• Spiritual Grounding: Opening worship rooted in the Black faith tradition,
• Courageous Conversation: Space to name the unique challenges and sacred responsibilities of Black leadership,
• Workshops & Wisdom Circles: Centering topics like mental well-being, resistance leadership, and sustaining joy in ministry,
• Collective Action Planning: Sharing strategies to resist burnout, dismantle injustice, and lead well for the long haul,
• Rest & Renewal: Intentional moments for reflection, prayer, and restoration
